Join the Fall 2020 Giving Challenge: Double Your Impact!
As a result of the coronavirus, our garden's usual operating revenues have been greatly reduced. Collectively, The Garden's operating revenue for the year has been cut in half, while many operating costs for this all-volunteer organization remain constant. The Giving Challenge fund will match your gift, dollar for dollar. We hope you will make a gift to The Botanic Garden this year – and double the impact of your gift through this Giving Challenge. Your donation helps to ‘Grow the Garden!’
The 26-acre site is secured, the Master Site Plan finalized, the Visitor Center, Pavilion, Silo Pool, Native Plant Garden, Lucille’s Garden, Walled Garden, Sugar Maple Allee, Secret Garden, and installation of the ADA ramp have been completed! Our next goals include the Perennial Garden, the Healing Gardens and a future Children’s Garden. Your gift will be your legacy as we continue building Northwest Michigan’s only botanic garden!

As a docent, you’ll lead group tours and help us tell the transformative story of this historic park. As a garden caretaker, you’ll help visitors to experience firsthand the belief of Dr. James D. Munson that “beauty is therapy.”
